A Message from Father Tony

Dear Parishioners,

On my appointment as Parish Priest for the Catholic community of Irlam, I was handed the parish logbook containing its rich history. My time here has already revealed the strong community spirit and caring approach to our faith—both in the home and within our schools.

It is heartwarming to witness our children grow in safety, compassion, and love. This is a testament to all the priests who have served before us, nurturing a faithful and welcoming parish family.

"Welcome" is written at the entrance of our churches, and that spirit extends to everyone. It reflects the genuine warmth and openness of our community.

I give thanks for those who have gone before me and humbly ask for your continued prayers and support, so that together we may help our parish grow under the protection of our patrons: St. Teresa of Avila and St. Joseph the Worker.

It is a blessing to see young people flourish in an environment filled with love, guidance, and strong Christian values of honesty and compassion.

May the Lord bless you.
Fr. Tony
